Refresh Linked Data Dialog Box
This dialog box is used to reload data of the active data
table or the active data sequence from the
linked files.
Repetitive Refresh
Check this check box to keep reloading from the linked files.
Duration (ms)
This spin box is visible only if the active document is a data sequence and
therefore the periodic refreshing method
is used. The value in this spin box specifies the time interval (in
milliseconds) between two successive reloads of the linked data.
Timeout (ms)
This spin box is visible only if the active document is a data table and
therefore the real-time refreshing
method is used. The value in this spin box specifies the timeout value (in
milliseconds) for DataScene to wait for a change of the linked file. If no
change has been detected within this interval, DataScene automatically reloads
from the linked file. The
purpose of this timeout is to prevent infinite wait if the linked file never
changes -
in which case pressing the Stop button would not terminate
the background thread that performs the refreshing.
Refresh Count
This spin box is enabled only if the Repetitive Refresh check box is not
checked. The value in spin box specifies the number of times to refresh the linked data.
Start
Click this button to start the refreshing of the linked data.
Stop
Click this button to stop the active refreshing of the linked data.
Hide
Click this button to hide this dialog box, which will not
stop the data refreshing unless the Stop has been pressed.
