File Menu
This menu contains the following menu commands and sub menus.
 New Project
Select this command to create an empty project.
 Open Project
Select this command to open an existing project.
Recent Project Files
This sub menu contains a list of recent opened project files. Selecting one of
them opens the corresponding project.
Close Active Project
Select this command to close the active project.
Close All
Select this command to close all opened projects.
 Save Active Project
Select this command to save the active project.
 Save Active Project As
Select this command to save the active project with a different file name.
 Save All
Select this command to save all opened projects.
Import Data
This sub menu contains the following menu commands.
 From Text
Files
Select this command to open the Text Data Source
dialog box with which data from one or
multiple text files can be imported into the
active project.
The imported data will be contained in one or multiple data
tables or a single data sequence.
From Excel Files
Select this command to import data from one or multiple Microsoft® Excel
files.
The imported data will be contained in one or multiple data
tables.
From ODF Spreadsheets
Select this command to import data from one or multiple Open Document
Format (ODF) spreadsheets.
The imported data will be contained in one or multiple data
tables.
From Access Databases
Select this command to import data from one or multiple Microsoft® Access
databases.
The imported data will be contained in one or multiple data
tables.
Export Data
Select this command to save all opened projects.
Export Graph
Select this command to save all opened projects.
 Print
Select this command to print the active graph
document.
Print Preview
Select this command to open the Print Preview
dialog box with which a print preview
can be generated.
Exit
Select this command to exit DataScene.
