Data Menu
This menu is enabled only if the active document
is a data table or a data
sequence. This menu is the context menu of the active document. It
contains the following menu commands and sub menus.
Copy
Select this menu command to copy the data in the selected rows, columns, or
cells to the clipboard.
Cut
Select this menu command to cut the data in the selected rows, columns, or
cells to the clipboard.
Paste
Select this menu command to paste the data on the clipboard into the data
table. If the active document is a data sequence, the behavior of this command
can be customized on the Edit: Data Sequence tab-page of the Program
Options dialog box.
Insert
This menu command is visible only if at least one row or column is
selected. Select it to add more rows or columns to the data table. If
the active document is a data sequence, the behavior of this command can be
customized on the Edit: Data Sequence tab-page of the Program
Options dialog box.
Undo
Select this menu command to undo the most recent editing operation.
Add
This sub menu is visible only if no row, column, or cell is selected. It
contains the following two menu commands.
New Columns
Select this menu command to add new columns to the data table.
New Rows
Select this menu command to add new rows to the data table.
Delete Row(s)/Column(s)
Select this menu command to delete the selected row(s) or column(s). If the
active document is a data sequence, the behavior of this command can be
customized on
the Edit: Data Sequence tab-page of the Program
Options dialog box.
Set Formula
This menu command is visible only if the active document is a data table and
a single column or cell of the data table is selected. Select this menu command
to open the Column/Cell Formula
dialog box with which a column or cell
formula can be applied to the selected column or cell.
Setup 2D Grid
Select this menu command to open the 2D
Rectangular/Circular Grid dialog box with which a 2D grid can be set up on
two columns of the data table.
Set Column Name
This menu command is visible only if a single column is selected. Select this
menu command to edit the name of the selected column.
Export Data
Select this menu command to open the Export
Data dialog box with which the data in the active data table or data sequence
can be exported to one or multiple files.
Sequence Editor
This menu command is visible only if the active document is a data sequence.
Select this menu command to open the Data
Sequence
Editor with which the data sequence can be edited.
Sequence to Table
This menu command is visible only if the active document is a data
sequence. Select this menu command to open the Generate
Table From Sequence dialog box with which a data
table can be generated from the active data sequence.
Table to Sequence
This menu command is visible only if the active document is not a data
sequence. Select this menu command to open the Generate
Sequence From Table dialog box with which a data
sequence can be generated from the active data table.
ToolBox
This sub menu contains menu commands that correspond to the tools on the ToolBox.
Selecting such a menu command will invoke the corresponding tool on the ToolBox.
