Create Table From Formula Dialog Box
This dialog box is used to create a data table
and populate it with data generated from a mathematical formula (function). The
first column of the generated data table will contain evenly spaced data points
according to the settings under the Domain group below; and the second
column of the generated data table will contain data that are function values of
the data in the first column.
Domain
From
The value in this text box specifies the starting value of the independent
variable of the mathematical function.
To
The value in this text box specifies the ending value of the independent
variable of the mathematical function.
Steps
The value in this text box plus one specifies the number of rows of the
generated data table.
Time Parameter
Time Dependent
Check this check box to enable the use of the time
parameter T in the mathematical formula.
Time Value
The value in this text box is the current time value of the time parameter T.
Formula Editor
This group box contains the Formula Editor
with which the mathematical formula can be edited.
OK
Click this button to create a data table and populate it with data using
the specified mathematical formula.
Cancel
Click this button to close this dialog box without doing anything.
