format used for reference spectrum file
What is the format used for reference spectrum file?
When using text files (Notepad) the following message: Non-float input, please check your data file! Could you send a sample file of the spectrum for the program Diatomic 1.4.1.1? |

The reference spectrum file should be an ASCII file containing two columns of numbers (one for position and the other for intensity). If there is any non-numeric header, Diatomic will complain and give up. Take a look at the AlH_AX_ref.dat and CH_BX_ref.dat in the examples folder under the Diatomic installation folder.

In the examples folder the files given position in 1/cm. Can I specify the position in nm.

Problem is solved. It is required that the data files are on drive C: in folder examples.
